Been Under The Weather

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you probably already know this but I've been a bit under the weather with some sort of crazy cold that has turned into the crud. It's kind of like being on a roller coaster because I have my ups and downs with it especially at night. I keep thinking if I could sleep through the night I'd probably feel a whole better.

Anyways...

I've been feeling bad for ignoring the blogs so thought I would check in and say hello. I need to pick some winners for some contests I had going on and I need to mail some prizes for some other recent winners.

On the writing front, I'm not really focused on anything specific this week other than the Storyboarding class I am taking from author Shayla Black. Shayla is one of my favorite authors to read and I've heard a lot about her storyboarding class. So when the opportunity came up and I happened to finally not be under a massive deadline, I signed up.

I wholeheartedly believe that no matter where we are in our writing career there is always more to learn. There is always a need to keep working on craft. I've got several new projects brewing so I'm ready to challenge myself to try something new. I'm tossing around more shapeshifters, a new contemporary series, my super secret project and even a little steampunk.

I've also got three submissions out to publishers and a query to perfect on my full length BDSM novel that is bursting to get in the hands of publishers.

Which all means I better get over this cold so I can get back to work full steam. Right after I watch Glee. lol

Have a great week,

Eliza

P.S. In case you were wondering. The book I'm reading at the moment is Belonging To Them by Brynn Paulin. You can always follow me on Goodreads to see what I am reading. I keep it updated whenever I pick up a new book.

So sorry to hear that you are feeling crummy. Sending hugs and hoping that your recent submissions find a home soon. That kind of news would definitely have you feeling better.

Ah Eliza,

Sorry to here that your not feeling well. I know you must be feeling like nothing you do will ever make you feel better. Been there. Keep with it and in a few months you will feel like it never happened.

Hugs
