Reading, Writing and a Free eBook

Now that I sort of feel like I've recovered from my work trip, I should get back to the business of blog writing.

I've been letting stress get to me lately and I think everything has suffered for it. The blogs, the writing, pretty much everything. Plus the kids were home this week for spring break and that definitely threw my schedule off despite them not being a pain at all. :)

Of course Lora Leigh's latest book, Lion's Heat came out last week so all I really wanted to do was read every chance I got. The book was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Although if you've never read one of her Breed books I wouldn't suggest you start there. Go back to the beginning, it's well worth it.

I've now moved on to Wicked Enchantment by Anya Bast. I love the fae. Love them! I write them too, although its been a while since I published one. Hopefully that will change soon since I have a fae manuscript sitting at a publisher waiting to see if they like it.

The downfall to reading someone else's fae story? Now my half written fae urban fantasy is calling my name. Unfortunately all I can do is scribble down notes to appease the characters because I have a project to do list that must get completed first before I can go wandering off into new story land. lol

My writing mojo has not been at it's normal level for weeks now, yet this wolf story must get done soon. Even though its been hard to write I still make myself write at least a little each day to push through. But to say a little, I really mean a little. A few hundred words little. I did however push through a tough scene last night and am hoping this weekend things will get back to normal.

April is a crazy busy month. The 4th purgatory book, Fire & Desire came out a couple of weeks ago so I am busy promoting that.

Kane, the second in the black cougar series comes out in *gasp* two and a half weeks. I am so anxious to hear from readers about this one. I love the shifters.

At the same time, Dirty Deeds releases from Loose Id. If you like sexy demons into BDSM with your adventurous reading then you will love this one.

On top of that, I will most likely be attending the RT Booklovers convention at the end of the month. I can't wait to revisit old friends and hang out with readers. Going
to be lots of fun.

One last thing... Today only, April 10th. My first Pentacles of Magick book is available for free download at All Romance eBooks as part of their 21 days of series promotion for Earth Day.

Happy Saturday!

Eliza

Hi Eliza, April is definitely your lucky month. I already picked up The Bonding this morning, and am hoping to get to it tonight. Though I get to start Lion's Heat tonight too, lucky me! Definitely a weekend to lock the doors and turn off the phone, lol.
