Crazy writer someone says: "Hey, there's this really cool call for short hot romance but it has to be turned in on Monday. I bet we could do this."
Me: Oh no she just threw down the gauntlet. Did she really use the word bet?
Crazy writer someone: "Seriously it's only 6-10k. You can whip that out in no time flat.
Me: Uh huh
Crazy writer someone: "Come on, you plot tomorrow and we write it this weekend."
Me: I've got no plot, no ideas, nuthing.
Crazy writer someone: Ignores me.
My head fell into my hands and a groan slipped from my mouth. Nah, can't do it. Don't have time.
Friday, February 19th
Crazy writer someone mysteriously reappears. "Okay let's write."
Me: (still with no plot by the way) "Okay."
Saturday, February 20th
The day dawns bright and somehow late friday I managed to find an idea and summarize a short plot. I must write between 6-10k in two days. Which by the way is a weeks worth of word count. I write 1200 words a day 6 days a week.
The writing commences and at the end of day 1 I have 4000 words and I look around a little worried. I'm at 4k and I've barely delved into the "little" plot. Uh oh.
Sunday, February 21st
Another beautiful sunny weekend day and I start writing. Sunday is for the sexoring so the pace is slooooow. This first intimate (i.e. dirty) scene ends up 4000 words and its almost midnight. My brain is fried and I'm sexored out. I'm at 8k, I'm within the range of the special call, too bad I'm only half way through the "little" plot.
Now it's monday and instead of a story heading out the door I have another WIP to add to the work in progress section of the blog. In case you're curious I have tentatively titled this one Bottoms Up and its a hot little spanking story.
The moral of the story? Who the hell knows, I'm tired. lol

*laugh* I totally love the moral of the story. I am dying to know who the "Crazy writer someone" is.
